What does your job look like?
I’m the person in the meeting who will always ask “why”. That one question is where the real work begins – it cuts through assumptions and uncovers the true business need. My job is to translate that “why” into a data-driven “how”, bridging the gap between an innovative idea and the technical solution that creates real business value.
What’s the first thing you do when you start working?
My first half-hour at work is my “calm before the storm”. As I’m not a big morning talker, I use that focused silence to review my day, spot roadblocks and set priorities. This simple routine ensures my day stays structured and impactful, regardless of the chaos that follows.
What’s your professional background?
I came to viesure with extensive experience forged in the banking and insurance world. My background is a unique blend of the operational and the analytical – from working directly in risk and claims management to designing better systems as a Business Analyst. This dual perspective allows me to understand not just how things work, but why they matter to the business.
What do you love about your job?
I’m constantly learning from two different worlds at once. On one hand, I get to dive deep into the fascinating complexities of the insurance industry and, on the other, I’m always learning about the new technologies that power it. I genuinely love that my job encourages me to ask questions, learn continuously and work with talented people to find solutions. It’s a role that constantly feeds my desire to grow.
What’s your favourite thing about viesure?
For me, it’s simply the energy. It’s this inspiring mix of talent, motivation and a genuine excitement for what we’re building. Being surrounded by people who are not only brilliant but also passionate about shaping the future of insurance makes work feel less like a job and more like a shared adventure. That vibrant and forward-looking atmosphere is my favorite thing about being here.
Lastly, what’s your message for us?
My message is simple: Let’s always stay curious and be courageous. True innovation doesn’t come from playing it safe. It comes from experimenting, from having the courage to challenge the status quo and from viewing any mistakes not as failures, but as crucial learning opportunities. If we continue to embrace this mindset and have fun along the way, there’s no limit to what we can achieve together.
