This job is about…

You will work in a cross-functional team with experts in various domains to build the next generation of products for our customers, sprint by sprint. Your role will involve engineering, testing and using cloud infrastructure to develop future features, products, APIs, and apps. With our cloud-native approach, you can focus on coding without the hassle of waiting for infrastructure. Continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and short feedback cycles give you the possibility to constantly improve your skills.

Your daily business…

• Testing of mobile, desktop GUI, or web application or backend systems and APIs
• Define and continuously improving test concepts and approaches applied
• Coordination and orchestration of test efforts from planning through documentation of results
• Execution of acceptance tests, regression tests, integration tests, load tests, etc.
• Extend test automation with state-of-the-art technologies
• Be an advocate for agile engineering and “shift-left” testing
• Verify expected results from an end-to-end view, including integrated enterprise IT systems
• Monitoring of NFRs in collaboration with UX and architecture
• Documentation and management of your findings in Jira
• Collaboration with the product owner prioritizing issues
• Share your knowledge and insights with the team, fueling team-wide innovation and a culture of continuous learning and giveback
• Drive technical excellence and contribute to product innovation to shape the roadmap of our innovation center

Your skills…

• 2+ years of experience as a software tester assuring quality on a production-ready level
• Elevated skills in test automation and experience with mobile test automation frameworks and technologies (such as: Appium, Cucumber) or backend test automation frameworks and technologies (such as: Spring, Cucumber, Selenium) and test automation of APIs
• Experience with load testing and application of relevant tools
• Hands on experience with full scale test solution Tosca is a plus
• Understanding of test architecture and system architectures
• Extraordinary sense for accuracy and effective document issues in a concise way
• Strong knowledge foundation from either academic education, professional training or self-study
• An ISTQB certificate is a plus
• Familiarity with test planning and execution in Jira, ideally with integrated Xray
• Good practical experience working in agile software development teams
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies
• User and data-centric mindset
• Eagerness to learn and adopt emerging technologies and industry trends
• A user and data-centric mindset, with a keen understanding of customer needs
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Creativity and interest in contributing to products and ideas in our innovation center.

Based on the Austrian Collective Agreement, we offer an annual salary of min. EUR 40.000,- (fulltime) for junior roles and min. EUR 57.000,- (fulltime) for senior roles of this position. Depending on your qualification and experience, our willingness to overpay is a matter of course.
